about

Once upon a time, possibly in 2005, three musicians performed intense jazz fusion to group of other musicians in a small club in Worcester. This would not have happened if Loz Ruston had not asked us to play to some of his music students, and it would be all but forgotten in the mists of time Paul Wetton had not decided to record it on Minidisc (remember them?).

So why release this recording?

Firstly, it is a rare thing that musicians can play this type of music to an appreciative audience in a nice venue with good sound and for the circumstances to permit for material this complex to get rehearsed to the point where the musicians can really let loose.

Secondly it captures the late, great Dave Woodhouse in all his glory, burning up the keyboard.

This is recorded on one mic and is a 'Warts and all' production. The quality leaves a little to be desired but for all the audiophiles out there
consider this a documentary recording of what musicians do when no one is looking.
Playing music we love, wearing our influences on our sleeve and trying get in 'that place'.

Dedicated to musicians who love to play, audiences who love to listen and of course to Dave.
